Halotron II is a clean total flooding agent based on HFC-134a (CH
2FCF
3), HFC-125 (CHF
2CF
3) and carbon dioxide (CO
2).
It replaces halon 1301 with great effectiveness in certain applications.
It is primarily distributed in Sweden and Finland, but is also approved under the U.S. EPA SNAP program, subject to usage limitations.

Halotron II (HFC Blend B) is included in the NFPA 2001 standard, 2008 Edition. This standard covers guidelines for system design and safe use.
